Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, Yahweh our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the Giver of light! When I watch the dawning of a new day, I meditate on the light that You spoke into existence: the sun to rule the day, and the moon for the night. Your Word tells me that light is a garment that You wear, and the day will come when I will no longer need the sun or moon for light, for You, my ’Or Goyim, the Light of the Nations, will be my light. You are the Light of the World, and as long as I cling to You, believe in You, and keep my eyes focused on You, I will never walk in darkness. I praise You, I honor You, and I give You thanks … amein.
