Blessed are You, Yahweh
our Elohim, King of the universe, who is continually instructing me in the
difference between a need and a want. You have faithfully
provided for me all that I need—the air I breathe, food, shelter, and
clothing—and will always do so. However, when I begin to confuse my wants—a
new cell phone, a new pickup, a new horse—as being something that I need,
again, You are faithful to show me the error of my thinking. Thank You, my
Father, that because my delight is always in You, You do occasionally grace me
with something I want. And I am very careful to always, always, be thankful.
Amein!
