Blessed are You, Adonai our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me the importance of discipline in every area of my life. Discipline and self-control are necessary character traits of the disciple; I must therefore cultivate these two uncomfortable friends, that I might truly be called a disciple of Yeshua. You have clearly said that the one who does not seek to control him/herself is as a city without walls, broken down and destroyed. Help me, El De’ot, my Elohim of all knowledge, to submit to the control of Your Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh, that the mature fruit of self-control would be evident in my life. Amein …
